Idea dice
The idea dice are a great way to help you get over the fear of the ‘blank page’ and get you enjoying the fun experiemental process that art is supposed to be!
What are they?
These dice were originally designed for art therapy sessions to give children some abstract sentence starters for them to start creating from. However upon testing them around different audiences I have found that they can be engaging to all age ranges and are an overall tool for generating fun unique ideas.
Once these dice were created I gave a list of simple drawing prompts to a young creatives, then asked them to use the dice to add unique characteristics to their drawings. The process was very fun and collaborative, and it was very interesting seeing how people interpreted the dice.
